Yummy Pudina Chicken

Ingredients:

1/2 kg – chicken
1/2 inch – ginger
10 pods – garlic
2 onions – finely sliced
3piece – cashewnuts
1 bunch- pudina
1 bunch- coriander leaves
Salt to taste
5 tsp – oil + 1 tsp to sauté
4 – green chili
1 – Lemon (squeeze the juice of the lemon)
2 tsp – coriander powder
Garam masala powder
1/2 tsp – chili powder
1/2tsp – turmeric powder
1 tsp – corn flour

Method:

Take a pan and add one spoon of oil. Sauté the green chilli, coriander leaves and pudina. Once chilled add them to a blender along with chopper ginger, garlic, cashew nut and salt. Blend them to a fine paste.

Meanwhile marinate the chicken with a pinch of turmeric and lemon juice for 30mins.

Pour the remaining oil in a pan and fry the sliced onions to golden brown, add the grounded masala paste and fry until the oil separates. Once done, add the marinated chicken, coriander powder, chilli powder, garam masala and fry for few more minutes. Add half glass of water and cover it with a lid.

Allow it to boil and cook for 30mins, add corn flour with 2 tsp of water and mix the paste to the chicken.

Simmer the flame and fry the chicken till it is dry. You can garnish the Pudina Chicken with coriander leaves.
